Flying Saucers

Kae Watson March 25, 2016

The 1930’s were best known for the Great Depression.  It was also a time of great fascination with flying saucers and aliens.  The pop art of the time was splendidly creative with all sorts of alien images.   Hollywood was creating the first of science fiction movies like Flash Gordon’s trip to Mars in 1938 followed by Buck Rogers in 1939.  Pop culture influenced fashion, even back then.  Check out these flying saucer buttons hump back buttons.  Certainly out of this world.  These buttons would look great on a bag or accents on an industrial design.  Punk lovers could use these too!  $10.00 or all three under Celluloid - Hump Shank.
