What an amazing button.  It is carved celluloid with a rhinestone center.  It is believed to date back to the 20s.  Exquisite.  It measures 1 5/8 inches from point to point.  Lovely condition as you can see from the pictures.  Add this one to a winning tray of celluloid buttons.
