Colt Manufacturing made fabulous plastic buttons from the mid-1930s through 1954. This is the same company that make Colt firearms.  There is a numbering system which is used to identify confirmed Colt buttons.  We are using this numbering system.   The Brown Swirl buttons are part of our large purchase in 2014 and the buttons have never been circulated.
